A Shoe Pair Is One Item With Two Arguments

The left shoe and right shoe need to agree from the front, side, and back. That sounds obvious until you mirror a shape, rotate the avatar, and notice that the outer detail reads louder on one side. A stripe, buckle, wing, bow, or tread cut can make the pair feel tilted even when the mesh positions are technically mirrored.

I like testing one plain version first. No shine. No lace texture. No tiny rubber cuts. Just the main mass, the ankle opening, the toe height, and the sole thickness. If the pair feels wrong at that stage, polish will only make the mistake more expensive.

What to Fix First

Fix the floor line

The heel floats, the toe sinks, or the shoe looks like it is skating on the ground.

Chunky sneakers, platforms, boots, and thick soles.

The Honest Standard
